The Battle of the Buildings is a community-driven health tournament designed to combat high blood pressure in Quincy. Instead of traditional clinic visits, we transform heart health into a 6-month team competition between six local residential buildings.
The Goal: Buildings compete to see who can achieve the Most Improved Blood Pressure and the highest Participation Rate.
The Format: Every month (January–June), our medical team sets up a “pop-up clinic” in your building’s lobby for quick check-ins and health education.
The Tracking: Progress is tracked on a live leaderboard. Points are awarded not just for lower numbers, but for the consistency and effort of the entire building community.
To win, buildings must move their residents through the health categories:
Baseline (January): We record the starting stats for all participants.
The Climb (February–May): Monthly clinics provide the coaching and data needed to improve scores.
The Final Count (June): Final readings are taken to determine the winner.
The winning building is crowned the Healthiest Building in Quincy and hosts the Ultimate Summer Victory BBQ in July, featuring a championship trophy and an awards ceremony.
