Happy New Year, Boston! As the calendar turns to 2026, the team at Clare Senior Care isn’t just looking at a new date; we are looking at new opportunities to disrupt the status quo of Adult Foster Care.
In this industry, people often talk about “charity.” At Clare, we don’t. We talk about change. We talk about equity. And most importantly, we talk about the impact that happens when every voice is heard, regardless of the language it speaks.
To Our Seniors: You Are the Authors of Our Mission
To the seniors and families we serve across Greater Boston: our wish for you in 2026 is unapologetic agency.
For too long, the traditional healthcare system has treated seniors as “cases” to be managed. At Clare, we know better. You are the keepers of culture, the pillars of our neighborhoods, and the very heartbeat of this agency.
Whether you speak Spanish, Vietnamese, English, or any other language, your voice is not just a “preference”—it is our directive. Our promise for 2026 is to ensure you are never just “cared for” in the background, but truly heard at the center. We will continue making a purposeful ruckus to ensure you receive the dignity, equity, and respect you have earned. This year, your story leads the way.
To Our Caregivers & Staff: Our Resilience and Our Pride
To our dedicated caregivers and office staff: we know that 2025 was a demanding year. You faced hurdles, navigated a complex healthcare landscape, and carried the weight of our mission during challenging times. We see the sacrifices you made and the exhaustion you pushed through to ensure our seniors never felt the brunt of those storms.
You are more than “staff”—you are the Engines of Change. You didn’t just perform tasks in 2025; you facilitated a movement of community-based care with unmatched grit.
As we move into 2026, our wish for you is restoration and renewed strength. We are committed to supporting you just as fiercely as you support our families. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Clare Senior Care. We couldn’t make a “purposeful ruckus” without your heartbeat behind it.
A Message from Our Leadership
Clinical Excellence with a Heart
Thai Nguyen, RN (Director & Head Nurse), looks toward 2026 with a focus on the intersection of safety and dignity.
“In 2026, my wish is for our team care to be as culturally fluent as it is medically precise,” says Thai. “We aren’t just monitoring vitals; we are protecting the stories and legacies of our seniors. My insight for the coming year is that true health starts with feeling understood in your own language. We are committed to ensuring our nursing care remains the gold standard of safety while never losing its human touch.”
The Foundation of Equity
Dr. Ikram A. Farooqi, MD, envisions a year where Clare Senior Care continues to challenge the traditional healthcare landscape.
“Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege reserved for those who can navigate a complex system,” Dr. Farooqi shares. “My vision for 2026 is to double down on our ‘Purposeful Ruckus.’ We aren’t here to play it safe; we are here to bridge the equity gap in Greater Boston. We provide the foundation, but the community provides the strength. This year, we will continue to prioritize impact over optics and equity over everything else.”
“Care with Equity. Purpose in Action. Every Voice, Every Language. This isn’t charity. It’s change. It’s purposeful ruckus-making—with impact that matters.”
Looking Ahead
In 2026, we aren’t interested in being the quietest agency in Massachusetts. We are interested in being the most effective. We are here to bridge the gaps in the healthcare system and ensure that every senior in our foster care program feels the power of a community that refuses to leave anyone behind.
Here’s to a transformative 2026.
